Besides these great things that take place, there are many other activities in the air. The first thing that people noticed when they walked in the door, was a table full of Titanic items. These items were donated by various people to be given away in a door prize. Some of these items given away were models, photoetch, plans and books. And the best thing, everyone walked away with a prize. Click on the General photos section to see these photos.

That's the great thing about these meetings. Everyone walks away with free stuff. Bruce is notorious for just giving away tons of free material. Doug May is also known for bringning stuff to give away. I can't think of another convention/meeting, including non-Titanic ones, that you can walk away with arms full of materials. Bruce also had his newest book there for sell with the option to have it signed.

Dinner time was a little different this time. We decided to move it to the hotel restaurant this year. It really made it a lot easier to fit into our budget. The hotel does have a nice restaurant as well. The is a great time for everyone to sit down and talk about anything on their mind and get to know everyone else a little better.
