In light of the fact that people like Ken Marschall are incredibly impressed by the job done on the 9/10 scale James Cameron model, I would simply COPY THE MAST COLOR FROM THE NEW MOVIE. It appears to be very close to the funnel (buff) color- which surprised me when I first saw it because this color is SO MUCH LIGHTER than the dark brown shown on the model box (American Minicraft) photos.
