Outstanding! makes total sense too for the location. Wading through archaic terms is part of this business.

The iron work plan includes special notes like:
"Care to be taken that in shearing plates the rag left is on the faying surface"
"Seams on outstide strakes to be be jogoled" (no spelling error)
Scuppers are drains.
Coamings are raised metal edges to resist water entry.
Risings are structural walls (as opposed to non-structural interior walls)
