Hi:
I've successfully cast a mold of a 1:350 lifeboat using "Fastglas" resin mixture (the pink coloured formula resin). The molds are nice and clean, and are now set solid.
My question is this - Would it be possible to cast parts in the mold with plaster of paris? It seems to be a lot cheaper than the rubber+activaotr resin kits I've seen. I don't want to fill my molds with plaster though, only to find I can't get it back out in one piece!
Also, what does one use to a) Cement two plaster pieces together and b) Cement a plaster piece to the kit's pieces?
