The conspiracy theory regarding the "switch" of Titanic and Olympic is as my title stated: Hogwash. There is a book in the works by authors whose names I can't divulge which will take this theory apart piece by piece and send it to a place even lower than the wreck of Titanic. Try UFOs if you want conspiracies.

If you do have information that the replacement came from Titanic, I'd be interested in the reference. I don't think it was a major undertaking to cast a propeller blade. The stern frame castings were another matter. The blades were roughly 10' tall and bolted to the hub assembly. A casting of that size at most forges would not have been any big undertaking and wouldn't have taken much time to do.
