Hi Dave,

The Titanic kit that comes with the photo-etched (PE) parts and wooden decks is the Academy "Centenary 1/400 (14202)" edition. There is a Academy 1/400 "Model of the Year" 1998 edition too, and it is the same as the Centenary, minus the PE parts.

I was considering the Centenary edition too, but since I have no experience whatsover with PE parts, I chose the 1998 edition instead.

You can find the Centenary kit on ebay if you haven't checked there already. But since you've already invested on the Airfix model, I'm really not sure if the Toms Modelworks parts are compatiable (as they are for the 1998 Academy kit).

I wish I could help you further, but this is all I know.

Regards,

Rashed
