To Jonathan
As it approached 2.20am during the broadcast it really was palpable wasn't it - when the band played 'Nearer My God to Thee' it was so moving that I defy anybody to listen without fighting back a tear. The studio band were very good.

Being part of this quality radio broadcast would have been a very memorable way for you to mark this anniversary.

Can someone find a way of keeping this audio available after the BBC take it off their site?
