Hey guys. I know this topic has probably been talked about before, but after trying to do a forum search I couldn't find it. I was cruising the internet the other day and found this article. http://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/mystery-titanic-central-propeller.html It is very interesting, but it has raised a question. The whole article is about the Titanic's center propeller. Models, movies, and peoples drawings all show 4 blades, but this article has a scan of the Harland & Wolff notebook which says they installed a 3 blade center propeller.

I was wondering what some of you guys have thought about it. How difficult do you think it would be to convert the 4 bladed propeller to a 3 bladed propeller? Thanks guys, Michael.

P.S. Yes, I've seen the picture of Titanic in the Thompson dry dock with a propeller sitting next to it.
