Hi

Need some quick help on this. What colour were the the cutters painted inside? I've seen few interpretations but am uncertain which is correct.

Also, the gripes on Titanic - which hold the lifeboats onto the chocks. Was the griped connected to the turnbuckle with a a chain, or with steel cables? I may be mixing up the ships, but on what appears to be an Olympic photo, I see cables; while on Titanic I can see chain.
