Hi Jason,

The plans in TTSM are the only detailed ones I've ever come across (they were originally published in the Proceedings of the Institution of Civil Engineers).

I wonder if the shed in the plan represents the southern shed (the one furthest from the camera in your photo). If you look at the photo on page 10 of TTSM vol.2, you'll see that the traveling gangway is a bit shorter than that shown on the plan. To my eye the Titanic shed seems to have the balcony moved outward as shown here in red:
