I agree. I have pretty much given up myself. I wanted to post updates of my 1/350 Titanic before she was finished but that was not possible either. For me, sharing the progress of a model is half the fun.
I remember the problems we had here a few years ago. Some people argued and several left. After that the site has really not been the same as there is less activity than earlier. Now there are almost no activity in a week. For me personally that is quite sad. I joined TRMA before Facebook was created and I was fifteen years old. Now I am 29. This is where I learned to write and read english properly and most of my Olympic class knowledge and modelling skills comes from the people contributing to this site.
I know your modelling page on facebook and I just love it. The thing with such a page is that people need to know about it. What I would like to do is to share my work in a bigger group, but wich group should I use? Titanic tech? I do not know if that is the place for "progres" photos or status update for a model? I see that my 1/350 Titanic is well received in both Titanic tech and the ocean liner enthusiasts but that was a finished model. I will ask Jonathan what he thinks since it seems that most of the TRMA regulars are lurking around his site.
I am all up for a TRMA page on Facebook now that thing are how they are. At least a page where we can all share our models, both finished and in progress. That is what I miss the most.
