#55615, "Portside GSC foyer on the wreck"

Hi,
I was cataloguing some wreck footage to determine the state of the wreck in 1985/6/7 but there isn't much for the port side of the GSC foyer. I know that there are areas Ballard didn't explore and if he did in this area, a lot of the footage hasn't been released.

All I've found is a few seconds showing the area of the GSC port side entrance with its askew entrance sign and the corner of the deckhouse at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwVX43gQYec at 26.07 minutes in.

I found this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLodskaw1Lg) documentary featuring the 1987 dives and it shows this area (at 51.30) with more damage than is commonly shown in models and paintings. Moreover, it shows a hole between the two forwardmost windows. Although the structure of the foyer is distorted and squashed, the hole looks to me like a square with a line of rivet holes at the base. Looking at the photo of the Countess of Rothes by lifeboat 8 at Queenstown, there is nothing on the outside of the foyer to account for this hole, so I am wondering if there is anything inside that blew out, causing this hole?

I'd created a small mosaic showing the area in question but this site won't allow me to upload it or link to it.
