Hi Brady,

I don't know if the exact colours of the equipment are known, but here's my guess, for what it's worth:

The rudder would be painted white to match the boat exterior. The lifejackets would also be white, or very close to it. Lifeboat masts were typically made from Norway Spruce and either painted white or varnished; my guess from the photos would be varnished wood. The oars would have been ash, possibly varnished, and would also have a copper blade tip. The sail was probably made of linen or canvas; I doubt it would have been painted.
