Hi all,

I don't know for sure but the telephone I.D. seems likely. Here's a photo of Oceanic on entering service with at least two of them present. The shape of the front can be seen better here.



It looks similar, but not identical, to the Navyphone pattern 2466 ( http://www.dreadnoughtproject.org/tfs/index.php/Pattern_246X_Navyphones#Pattern_2466_Navyphone ).
