#394, "Academy Minicraft Parts Needed"

Greetings to the Titanic Hobby.

I have followed this extremely informational site for a while and even bought the Titanic Modeling Book some time ago. One need only few a very small section of this site to begin to appreciate the wealth of modeling information available. The last time I built a Titanic model was in junior high school (1/700ish scale Revell) back in the mid-1990s.

I was visiting my 10-year old niece today and she indicated that in history class, she will be learning and studying the Titanic. For starters, she was viewing Cameron's 1997 Titanic film. I showed her old VHS copies I had of the 1953 movie, the IMAX film Titanica and one labeled Titanic Survivors.

As it turns out, I got a hold of and saved a 1/350 Academy Minicraft #1405 model left outside on the porch of a lady babysitting my stepson in the middle of winter last year. In connection with my niece's studies, I have decided to pull it from my attic and build it. When I checked the trees against the parts diagrams, I found that, thankfully, only a couple of parts were missing. However, they are extremely important.

Is there a chance that anyone here would have spare parts for this kit? Here is what was missing:

Parts Locator Diagram Page 2:

F3A and F3B - outer hull screw shafts
F4A and F4B - rudder halves
J39 - bridge face

I believe that my niece's studies may be on a time limit. The sooner I can locate the necessary parts, the better.
