I was just wondering if anyone had used any of the 1/350 parts and what the fit and detail was like.

I have the Minicraft Deluxe edition Titanic with the brass kit included. I didn't like the fit of them on the model as well as the looks. They were a little over-scaled and doesn't look as good as Tom's Modelworks or Gold Medal Model brass sets. That was why I opted to buy all of Toms and GMM brass sets and replaced them. The GMM also had parts for the Lusitania, which I hope to build in the future. The Minicraft Brass set is good for parts and other things like conduits, spars, etc. Hope this helps.

I have not used them Jason but I sure would like to. I wish they had more items for the 1/350 model. Those grand staircase domes are awsome. Where do people get those larger scale models?
Thanks for passing that mini-brass site along.

My 1/250th scale Model is the Hachette Partwork model. I used all the minibrass parts on that and it looks heaps better. The walls supplie with the kit were printed card and they looked atrocious. Having see through windows with light showing through makes such a huge difference. Well worth the extra cost.

Regards, Ryan
