That's amazing . . . , I didn't know the wreck revealed the letters M and P on the bow of the ship.
Could it really be possible they DID switch the ships after all?

The mentioned documentary is not new, it was discussed on the E.T. Forum in 2002. And this theory has popped up here as well now and then..

They misrepresented a great many things in this "documentary" the picture they used to show the 16 portholes on Olympic was actually a picture of Titanic. Not to mention the differences in the Boat deck, and other differences that are still part of the wreck, that they conveniently left out. I did watch it entirely, and enjoyed it regardless. I truely don't know how extensive the damage caused by the Hawke was. Apparently it was pretty bad. The real tragedy was how White Star was liable for the repairs to both ships.
Still, I'll stick with the iceberg theory.

IF the two ships was really switched, the nameplates is changed too, for the passangers. Only the structural items stoud the original registering (no.401). On every other fittings must be changed, if the name was on it. BUT known a wall cabinet, (found in the shore of New-Scotland) wich has a scription in it's back: "first class bath, bridge dk. 401" The letterpapers, boat nameplates, ship nameplates can changeabe, but why changed the built-in furniture?
And the wreck is the same plan too, wich was the Titanic's. Name change, fittings change? maybe. Structural change? Nope.

I don't believe in change theory, even logic is it.

I've been told there's to be yet another Titanic Conspiracy book out for 2012 and also plans afoot for another 1 hour television special. Both book and program are 'for / supporting' the switch theory.
Far from dead and buried is this switch theory. For publishers and TV producers there's still mileage left in it, especially for the 2012 anniversary Titanic market.
I see no end with this theory any time soon.

I have a hard time believing this. Surviving panneling from the olympic is stamped 400 and pieces of the titanic which was brought up from the wreck proves that it is titanic.

Well it looks like the information posted several months ago was correct.
Another a new book is coming out later this year, coupled with a new documentary special.

I wonder where this book is taking us this time. Last time it was the Sea Scouts and having one of Titanic's (Olympic's) lost lifeboats; which was lost in a collision and never recovered.
Apparently the doc team actually go diving for this lost lifeboat wreck off the Dorest coast. This new '100 year anniversary' switch special airs early 2012.
NB. It appears they've found it and plans for a recovery/salvage are planned.
