#44834, "Limited Edition of TITANIC: The Ship Magnificent - signed and numbered copies"
This will be the 4th edition of TTSM. No word as to whether there will be a 4th edition available in standard format. These are available on a first-come, first serve basis starting March 19, only through the publisher's website. They will not be carried on Amazon.

there is no new material, but as with each successive edition, it reflects any information that is new or has changed since the previous edition. In the 4th edition, for example, there are several changes to the dates of the photographs in the 'Construction to Launch' series to reflect new information as to when each funnel was erected. There are a number of other updates, but overall there are not many.

I will probably have to order soon, as my 1st edition is now falling apart. The pages are now loose from the cover. If I remember correct, this was a problem with the first printing, right? Is this problem solved in newer prints?

The History Press has advised us of the following:
Customers will be able to pre-order their copy or copies of the limited edition from today, 7th Feb 2012, by phoning Tel: 01453 732 527 between 9am and 5pm. All copies can be reserved with a credit or debit card at a 10% discount £225.00, money to be debited from customer accounts 16th March 2012 unless otherwise stated.
The order line on our website goes live on 19th March 2012. From this date, customers will be able to buy the limited edition exclusively via The History Press website www.thehistorypress.co.uk at a 10% discount £225.00. A helpline will also go live on that day, Tel: 01453 732 511, solely to advise those having problems placing their order. Ordering through our website is very straight forward, but we do understand that there might be those who may encounter difficulties.
Customers will only know which number they were lucky enough to secure upon receipt of the book. It would be impossible to administer any other way of ordering copies as they will be individually shrink-wrapped and held at our distributorís warehouse. Customers buying such a valuable item can be secure in the knowledge that each volume is unique and will reach them in perfect condition. We have discussed prompt and, most importantly, trackable postage and packaging with our distributors at great length, and the following tariffs apply:
United Kingdom: £10 Europe: £15 United States: £35 Australia: £60

After taking into consideration feedback from potential customers, sales have made the decision to lower the RRP to £199.00. This price is still eligible for the 10% discount, so customers are now able to buy a copy of the special edition exclusively from us for £179.10. Every other aspect of the sales process remains as it was.
