Hi Nick

When you say fixing, what do you mean? Cleaning them up? Replacing them?

Regards, Ryan

Also, if you search through previous posts on this subject, I wrote a very detailed reply to a similar question some time ago.

Nick,

as Ryan said, you need to be more specific. Are you looking for suggestions on what to do or how to do it?

It sounds like you're looking for general guidance to start. If so, have you checked out the Rivet Counter Tutorial? It hasn't been updated in some time, but the majority of the work on the hull hasn't changed. See the Hull page on the link below.

If you can find a plan of the hull showing the portholes, then a simple way would be to fill the portholes in the hull and drill out new ones. Is the hull in the kit that wrong though?

Minicraft-C deck class promenade windows"(forward of aft well decks)"

I'm not sure what is the best way to correct the promenade windows since there is downward slope as you go towards the bow. What would you recommend doing? and if correcting using styrene what size?

Thank you
Nick

Is that before or after "fixing"? I'm still not seeing what the issue is?

Nick,

you're still not saying what the problem is. Also, what about your paint line - did you have a problem with it, or are you proud of it? Be specific please! We'll be happy to give you advice, help or comments, but not if we don't know what you're asking.

It's very difficult, but you need to extend the openings upward by cutting and/or filing, and fill them at the bottom by the same amount.

Nick,

when answering a question put to you, please don't go back into your original post and edit it to answer the question. It's very confusing to do that. Please just reply to the last post that was made.

Thanks
Art
