#55456, "Olympic, Titanic and Britannic original plans"
Sun Aug-20-17 11:31 AMby b-rad

Hi, I am trying to find where I may get copies of the original plans featured on both sites http://www.titanic-plan.de/i_HW_plans_e.html and http://titanic-model.com/db/db-01/db_09.html (Roy Mengot's article 'Titanic Blueprints' featured on this site under reference library- research articles). this includes the bulkhead plans, line plans, plating plans, etc.

Thanks

Brad Payne

Hi Brad,

At one time, years ago, reproductions of these plans could be obtained from Harland & Wolff. I've heard that H&W's historic plans were transferred to the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum ( http://nmni.com/uftm/ ) but I can't find anything on their web site regarding their holdings or availability. At least one of the plans is currently on display there ( http://nmni.com/titanic/Home/Titanica/Exhibition/Bulkhead-Plan.aspx ).

Possibly an email inquiry to them would give you information on their current status.

Regards,
Ralph
