A few photos of my scratchbuild Titanic that i have just finished.

It has taken me 2 years and 4 months to build. The model is 1:100 scale - just under 9ft(3m). Sorry about the picture quality, I intend to get some better photos taken outside when the summer weather arrives. I will be sorting out a display case next.

I am please to have finished it at the time of the 100 year anniversary. I thank everyone who visits this site for their kind words, help in responding to questions and encouragement during this project.

It just leaves me rather fittingly to dedicate this model to the ship magnificent Titanic and all those who built her, sailed on her and sadly lost their lives on her.

Respect - TITANIC.

Stunning work Jason, really stunning. Are there any high quality photos of this and your wreck model side by side that I can use as my wallpaper? I've found a few smaller ones but ther res is too low.

That is truly amazing!

Thank you for sharing your photos,

one question...

Where do you get the material to build this?

That is an absolutely amazing achievement - having spent the evening looking through your updates, I joined the forum just to be able to congratulate you on your skills!

At every stage of the construction, your photos have looked so impressive, and I've had to constantly remind myself of the scale - to the point of getting out a calculator and ruler only to be dumbfounded once again! The detailing is just beyond belief.

I hope very much one day to be able to see this model with my own eyes - it's very much deserving of pride of place in a museum.

Ronnie

Jason,

This is absolutely remarkable. You, sir, have perhaps created the finest Titanic model ever to be shown on this site. This is a museum piece of the highest quality. I am absolutely blown away by the detail and even more so, that it took you just over two years to build. Your work is of the absolute highest quality and skill. Thank you so much for sharing.

Cheers,

Jordan Morris
great-great nephew of Titanic survivor Frank Morris
