The Finished Replicas Forum was initially established to create a place where modelers could display photos of their finished models. Over time more and more modelers began posting progress photos of their model builds. Now some modelers are posting photos of almost every step of their build.
TRMA is now experiencing bandwidth capacity problems on our website due to the number of photos being posted in this forum. If we don't address this problem, we may have to discontinue the Finished Replicas Forum. We are asking our members to help us avoid extreme measures by following our new posting guidelines.
The Finished Models Forum will no longer allow numerous posts of a model build containing photo attachments. Posts with photo attachments will be limited to one per month. Posts without photo attachments will not be limited.
It is understandable that modelers would wish to document their model's progress. To do this we suggest the following alternatives:
1. Instead of attaching photos to your post, use an image hosting service such as PhotoBucket and post links to your photos in the body of your message.
2. Alternatively, you can create your own build log on your own private web page and link to it in your posts.
TRMA thanks our modeler members for their cooperation in helping us to conserve bandwidth capacity.
