#9253, "Morten Jensen's 1/350 Titanic model - update January 2017"
It's been a long time, but I am finally back on track with my 1/350 Titanic model. The last years have been hectic, so I haven't been able to work on the model for four years! I must say it feels good to continue where I left off.
As you can see, this is very much still a work in progress. I am currently working on the funnels so they are ready to be added as soon as the funnel bases are complete. Most of the bulkheads are done, only the lift housing on top of the 2nd class entrance is missing. The entire superstructure and all bulkheads on this model is scratch built. Only the main hull is used from the Minicraft kit. Most of the vents are done, but a few remains to be completed. Also the cranes are taking shape.
I will do my best to keep you updated as the model progresses. I am currently at sea, so I won't be able to work on the model for another two weeks.
I have attached links to the previous threads for this model.

this is probably the most well built model I've ever seen at this scale. The detail is amazing and everything is so crisp. I do wish that the antifouling was a little darker (I believe you explained why you made it this color in a previous thread); but other than that, this model is a stunner! Can't wait to see it completely finished.
