#435, "Searching for a 1/350 Minicraft/Academy Titanic PROMENADE DECK WALL LEFT"
Hello everyone. I recently purchased a kit off Ebay. Its an older kit. However I had one important piece missing. The Promenade Deck Wall (Left Side) was missing out of my kit. Minicraft doesnt sell replacement parts for old kits and especially if you bought it from an outside retailer like Ebay. If anybody has one they would like to sell I would greatly appreciate it. Otherwise I will learn a valuable lesson on scratch building. Thanks again to anybody who gives a response. If you have a wall you would like to sell, contact my email at firstname.lastname@example.org

Do you have a first name we can use?
Minicraft and Academy are two different models in different scales. Since you contacted Minicraft I guess you have a Minicraft.
Contact Sharon at Minicraft (there phone number should be found on their web site) and say you need The Promenade Deck Wall (Left Side) replacement for a NEW Minicraft. Let us know if this works for you.

Dave, My name is Kyle. I have the old Korean 1/350 academy/minicraft kit. So its from the short era when they were one company. I went to the minicraft site but it appears that they have changed their spare/replacement parts policy as of 2014. They no longer offer replacement parts for "older" kits, as well you have to provide a receipt from the retailer you bought the kit from. I bought my kit off of Ebay, and its 20+ years old so from what I can tell I will get no help from Minicraft. I thought about scratchbuilding but it will never look as good as the original piece. That's why I was hoping someone would have a spare wall they would like to sell.

Dave- I didnt know much about the kits either until I started a 1/570 Revell Titanic and stumbled across this site. After being extremely unsatisfied with the 1/570 kit I decided to find a 350 Minicraft. In the meantime I became addicted to this website and tried to gather all the knowledge I could that this site gives out. In doing so I even came across an article that tells the history of the 1/350 Minicraft Model. Very interesting and Im now a lifelong fan of this Titanicmodel.com Again though, if anybody has a spare LEFT PROMENADE WALL they would like to sell, I would greatly appreciate it. Please do not hesitate to contact me at email@example.com.
