The purpose of the SOS Nomadic campaign is to promote a full and authentic restoration for one of Northern Ireland’s and the world’s most important heritage assets - SS Nomadic. SS Nomadic is a hugely historic Edwardian Steam Ship which was designed as 1st Class Passenger Tender to the most famous ocean liner of all time, RMS Titanic.

There has been a great deal of interest in SS Nomadic, both locally and internationally. Despite this, attempts by many to understand the ongoing fortunes of the vessel have been frustrated owing to a severe lack of accurate information in the public domain. This problem, and the rife speculation and concerns which have resulted from it are the primary reason why the SOS Nomadic campaign has been established - We intend to investigate the project and publish everything we find out.

To further this aim, we hope to develop this website as a public resource for all those determined to obtain real, honest and factual details regarding the handling of this incredibly important project.

We aim to publish every piece of official documentation, all evidence and reports, verifiable testimony and professional opinion that we can get access to. Furthermore, we intend to provide an uncensored record of all that has taken place to date and to reveal in detail the ongoing situation in a transparent way which allows the vessel's owners (the people of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) to make informed opinions for the first time and voice them in a clear and coordinated manner.
