And Titanic model reviews

There have been many types of models of the Titanic over the years, but only a few have really been in the spotlight as the 'regulars'. Were assuming that you already know what kind of modeller the person is. We have listed below the most common type of Titanic models that are available to date. Each one having its own type of quality. Some better than others. We hope that after reading through each page, you'll know what kind of model to get for your gift. Or if your just trying to find the right one for yourself.

In the following pages, we are going to not only show you what models are available, but what kind of third party detail sets are out there. For each model, we have compiled a list of what detail sets go with each model. We've also done all of the leg work for you to let you know where you can buy these models. The best kind of detail sets to get for these type of models are called photoetch parts. These are tiny brass parts that take the place of some of the plastic parts for extra detail. Although most modellers should be able to work with these parts, it should be noted that the person should have a little experience with modeling small parts before getting into photoetch. It doesn't take much to break or bend these pieces. We'll also show other detail sets such as custom made decals that do not come with the original kits.

If you still have any questions about a particular model that was not answered in the section, please feel free to contact us. Of course, we do recommend that you try the main TRMA forum first. There are a number of great folks that would be happy to help you out there.

So, if you feel like your ready to dive into the world of Titanic modeling, start with the links below. After deciding what kit to get, you should paruse through the rest of this site to see what else is out there in the world of Titanic modeling.
